Challenger Learning Center
Hosts Family Forums For Parents
Parents, guardians and adult family members
are invited to join the Challenger Learning
Center's NASA SEMAA Family Cafe, which is dedicated
to providing parents resources to take a greater
role in satisfying their children's educational
needs.
The SEMAA program is NASA's number one educational
program and has received national recognition
for increasing participation and retention
of K-12 youth who are under represented in
science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The Challenger Learning Center for Space Science
Education is working to provide parents with
information, insights and the opportunity for
involvement, by hosting forums through the
Family Cafe. These forums are exciting, fun
and educational, covering areas of health,
technology, reading, math and science.
Please mark your calendar and plan to join
the SEMAA staff and other parents for the forums
scheduled during the 2005-06 school year. All
sessions will be held at the Challenger Learning
Center, located at 2600-A Barhamville Road.
