RICHLAND ONE TO HOST 2009 COLLEGE AND CAREER EXPO

High school juniors and seniors are facing several inevitable questions about their future: What will I do after graduation? Should I go to a four year college or a technical school? Should I join the military? Should I go straight into the workforce? These are often gut-wrenching questions for students and their parents. On Wednesday, November 11, 2009 Richland One will help answer some of those questions with the 2009 College and Career Expo.

The Expo will be held from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm at the University of South Carolina Coliseum, 701 Assembly Street. Students will begin arriving by bus at 8:45 am.

Students will have the opportunity to network with representatives from colleges, universities, military branches, and businesses from across the nation. The representatives will provide information on the admissions process and requirements, scholarships, and other financial assistance. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend so they may assist their child with making informed decisions about their future after high school.
