Keenan High School to Present 2009 Gospel Music Festival

It’s a gospel music feast for the soul and the heart. The Keenan High School Singers invite the community to attend their 2009 Gospel Music Festival on Sunday, October 25 at 4 p.m. at the Keenan Theatre, 361 Pisgah Church Road.

The musical lineup includes The Gap Choir, Keenan Alumni Singers, as well as gospel choirs of the University of South Carolina, Central Baptist Church, Ridge View High School, First Nazareth Baptist Church and Second Nazareth Baptist Church.

Admission is $5. All proceeds from the event will help The Keenan Singers with expenses for their upcoming performance at New York’s Carnegie Hall. The festival is jointly sponsored by the Performing Arts Choral TEAM (PACT) and The Keenan Singers.
