Richland One Announces New Transfer Application Dates

The application dates for school transfers within Richland One have changed. Beginning in 2010, Richland One parents requesting a student transfer to a new school must apply or reapply March 1-May 1, 2010. Previously, the application period was April 15-June 1.

The change gives parents more time to apply (two months, rather than six weeks) for new transfers, but requires that they apply earlier in the year.

On March 1 at 12:01 a.m. application forms will be available on the district Web site www.richlandone.org. To download a form, click on the "Departments" tab on the homepage and then click on "Registrar's Office." Forms may also be picked up at the Registrar’s Office, 1310 Lyon Street. Parents seeking additional information should contact the Registrar’s Office at 231-6944.
