Eau Claire High School Basketball Arena Dedication Ceremony

 

On Sunday, August 30 the Eau Claire High School gym was named in honor of legendary former boys basketball coach George Glymph, who was named Coach of the Year 25 times in basketball, track and field, and cross-country. He also sent numerous players to play on the collegiate and professional basketball levels, including Jermaine O’Neal of the NBA’s Miami Heat.

Lewis Greenview Elementary students receive school supplies

 
On September 10 Golden State Foods (GSF) Foundation presented book bags filled with school supplies to every early childhood student at Lewis Greenview Elementary. Pictured left to right are GSF representative Jack Pritz; Lewis Greenview kindergarten teacher Debbie McDonald; GSF Foundation chairperson Darwin McDonald and GSF representative Gregg Tarlton along with Lewis Greenview students.




Target Volunteers Build Reading Bench for W.A. Perry Middle School

 
Target store employees (left to right) Elyse Erickson, Katie Bower, Nneka Singleton, Angela Judware, Gary Baker, Amber Asmus, Cynthia Proctor and Kate Goodall sit on the reading bench they built for the W.A. Perry Middle School courtyard. As a recipient of the Target Library Makeover Award, Perry also received books worth $500 to add to its library collection.
