SCHOOL DAY TO START AT 8:00 A.M.FOR HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENTS The school day will begin a little earlier for Richland One high-school students this year. School will start at 8:00 a.m. instead of 8:15 a.m. for high-school students. The earlier start will give high-school students more instructional time during the school day. The school day will end at 3:15 p.m. for high schools, the same as last year’s dismissal time. School start and dismissal times for elementary and middle-school students will remain the same as last year. School bus pick-up times will not be affected. Bus routes and pick-up times are posted on the district’s Web site, www.richlandone.org. Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for Richland One students. The bell schedule for the 2009-2010 school year is as follows:
