Richland One Offers Advertising Opportunities at District Athletics Events

Smart business owners looking for great advertising deals should check out Richland One. The district is offering local companies the opportunity to advertise their products and services to thousands of potential customers at district football games and other athletics events. Ninety percent of the money raised will be used to fund school athletics programs.

Advertising packages include announcements read at every varsity football game, company banners hung at all three district stadiums for a year and passes good for any Richland One football game. The corporate packages offer three advertising levels to meet any budget. Businesses can also purchase program ads or donate raffle items for upcoming district events including the Annual Coaches Convocation and Luncheon (August 14 on the Olympia campus) and the Richland One Sportsarama (August 15 at Benedict College’s Charlie W. Johnson Stadium).

The advertising potential for businesses is worth the price. In the past 8 years, district teams have won 19 state championships including two in 2008-2009.
In addition to the 3,000-5,000 fans expected at Sportsarama, 58 varsity and middle school games (plus any playoff games) are scheduled at district stadiums this fall. Numerous junior varsity football games, spring soccer matches and track meets also will be held at district stadiums this school year.
