Proposed charter school will not open in 2008-09

The Richland One Board of School Commissioners denied the charter application for Imagine North Main Academy on April 4, 2008. The State Board of Education supported the local school board’s decision and affirmed its denial of the charter school application by its order dated May 30, 2008. As a result of these actions, North Main Academy charter school will not open during the 2008-09 school year as a public charter school.
