Richland One Students to Attend Presidential Inauguration
It’s the opportunity and joy of a lifetime for 45 Hopkins Middle School students. On Sunday, January 18, they, along with about 30 adult chaperones and parents, will leave for Washington, DC to attend the presidential inauguration. Their four-day trip includes attending the inaugural parade, a student inaugural ball and tours of historic sites.
This window to history begins at 7 a.m. on Sunday, when the group will board buses at the school and leave for their trip to Washington. They will return to the school at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21-no doubt full of memories that will last a lifetime.
