Brockman Elementary School To Offer Montessori Information Sessions For Parents

Attention parents in the Satchel Ford, Brennen and Bradley Attendance Zones! Brockman Elementary will hold parent information sessions for children enrolling in classes 3K - Grade 3 for the 2009-2010 school year. Brockman is a "school of choice" for students living in the Satchel Ford, Brennen and Bradley zones.

At this session you will learn about:

1) Brockman Elementary and Montessori education
2) The application process
3) Tuition requirements for 3K & 4K students (sliding scale & waivers for eligible students)

Brockman will offer a half-day morning program for students who are age three by June 1, 2009. Students applying for full-day programs (4K - grade 3) must meet the age requirement by September 1, 2009. Students will be accepted in grades 4-5 only if they are transferring from another Montessori school.

To register for a session call the school at 790-6743 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. or return this form by mail to: Brockman Elementary, 2245 Montclair Drive, Columbia, SC 29206 to the attention of Debra Murphy. Please register at least one week before the session you plan to attend. The application process is NOT on a first come first serve basis. All applications (with proper documentation) are due by 2/16/09. The random selection procedure will be processed in early March.
