Literacy starts at home long before your child enters our school buildings. Parent and Family Literacy provides a variety of programs for parents and children ages 0-5. Take a look....
FOOTSTEPS... Growing Up In Richland One is an early literacy program designed to assist parents in becoming effective first teachers for their young children. Together, we will focus on language, social, intellectual and motor skill development as your baby grows. Richland One would like to establish relationships with potential Richland One families during the early years of growth and development. An early home-school partnership will increase your child's readiness for school and promote the opportunity for a successful educational experience. These are programs that serve families of children ages 0-5 years.

These bags contain a video on early brain development, a variety of brochures on parenting and early development, a nursery rhyme book, a baby t-shirt and bib with "What you teach from birth to three, is what will matter most to me" inscribed on them.
