Central Services Facility 201 Park Street Columbia, South Carolina 29201 Phone: (803) 231-7057 Director: Raymond Perkins The construction section of Facility Construction Services manages construction and renovation projects from inception through completion. The staff works with the project architects and engineers to ensure form and function of the projects. Staff members inspect and review the work of project contractors. The department is managing the bond referendum projects. The professional staff includes an architect, mechanical engineer and project mangers providing system-wide adherence to district standards, and a telecommunication technician. The department oversees the design and construction efforts of contracted professional architects, engineers, construction program managers and construction firms in accordance with the bond program and capital projects. The staff also coordinates the installation and operation of all telephone systems throughout the district, as well as facility rentals. |
